Also anyone who takes contraception to stop their periods do you still experience pain at all? As I do still get pelvic pain an some other symptoms. Not sure what's happening.. if this is normal or not.
I currently have an IUD and still have abdominal and pelvic pain all the time. It sucks. However my periods are lighter now.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member do you mind sharing your experience with me with IUD? My doctor is insisting on putting an IUD Mirena but im a little afraid of doing so. Do you feel better with it or has it just made your periods a little lighter? Any side effects that you've noticed?
I have ovulation pain that can be pretty bad and last month I had an aching and major gut upset for two weeks between ovulation and menstruation. So for me it’s not all the time but a lot more than just during my period. I would imagine that with hormones the situation may not be getting worse but any kind of scaring or adhesions would still be present potentially causing pain.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member yes would you be able to share you experience as I'm really scared of using one of these, I'm on the injection but I'm having a lot of issues with that un related to endometriosis.
