I have this dull ache on one side that comes and goes throughout the month. Last month when it started right after the holidays it was horrible. I mean it always reduces my tolerance but it seems to also trigger pain when there was none before. I wish this was more widely known and discussed since it seems to be such a common pattern
Definitely the case with me..happens every time...you are not alone, not crazy either. My day to day challenge with stress, Coping with trauma, and my illnesses brings on tremendous amount of stress and so the pain packs on...
I do yoga, have therapy to help...
Good to know it’s not just me. I’m curious if little stressful incidents cause noticeable increases in pain, what are the chances that the rest of the pain is also related to stress/trauma (there have been studies showing this correlation). And if that is a big factor then what is the solution? It doesn’t seem like hormones and surgery are the best solution if the goal is to heal from stress and trauma. I wish more people would talk about this.
Yes! I thought I was crazy for thinking whenever I’m stressed or get mad , I seem to have more pain. According to some articles on google , the uterus holds emotions.
I think stress either makes my day to day symptoms worse, or reduces my tolerance to pain and discomfort.
