I was told by an osteopath that scar tissue from Endo can pull on your back hip and ribs. I was getting symptoms in my knee from the pull in my hip/pelvic area. I also had mid rib dislocation which was helped by a chiropractor.
I have had open surgery for endo a removal of an ovary and the surgical scar tissue has also affected me.
I am 55 and looking back I wish I had focused more on scar tissue work.
Learning to do myofascial work on my own body has helped lessen the pulling. I also use an inversion table and movement exercises.
I beleive stretching and somatic body training can also help.
You tube should have some videos.
Also getting myofascial work done by a trained therapist and acupuncture.
It’s kind of a part time job addressing endo properly.
Sorry things are painful and healing intentions your way!
I had rib pain or like a side stitch pain without being exercise induced. I had endo in the paracolic region.
Thank you for this info, it will help so much ❤️❤️❤️
Do you get sciatica pain from endo ? I just recently started getting worse sciatica pain and along with that I noticed the pain in my ribs now as well. It sucks. Only thing that’s helped really is heating pad/ hot shower. Maybe some oil from saje wellness on my stomach helps slightly.
Could rib pain be related to endometriosis?
Yes, rib pain could potentially be related to endometriosis. Endometriosis occurs when endometrial-like tissue grows outside the uterus, and this tissue can develop in various locations throughout the body, not just in the pelvic area.
