Does anyone one else feel full and get bloated with small meals?

History of endo and have 2 small complex follicles, one on each ovary measuring 2.5 cm. Scared to death i have cancer or some serious digestive issue. 2 weeks to see gyno or gi dr.

Thanks for answering me! That's reassuring. Found out yesterday I have umbilical hernia now from either the hysterectomy surgery or endo excision surgery. Remove one thing and gain another. Ugh!

I also have this happen when I have a flare! I have surgery in two weeks for my first excision surgery.

I am confident that once I have the surgery this will get better.

Sending you healing vibes… just know you’re not alone. I have a hard time feeling like eating or having that “full” feeling when I haven’t eaten a lot.

Going to the emergency room to hopefully rule things out with a CT scan. Getting hard to eat regular size meals. I fill up so quickly then get extreme gas and bloating. Don't feel I can wait 2 weeks to see a gi doctor then wait longer if they order more tests. I got bloodwork 2 days ago and they forgot to do LH and FSH levels so that didn't help things. Not sure gyno can help without those levels.

I just had a salad & falafel at a work event; took off belt when I got home because I got wicked bloated. The only wheat cheat was a piece of baklava for dessert.

The bloating happens for several reasons:

* Endometriosis causes inflammation in the abdominal area, leading to swelling and water retention
* When endometrial tissue attaches to the ovaries, it can cause cysts to develop and worsen bloating
* Gastrointestinal issues like constipation and gas are common with endometriosis

Many members describe feeling like they look pregnant or having a visibly swollen belly. The discomfort ranges from uncomfortable to debilitating and can include pressure in the stomach or lower back. Regarding your concern about the complex follicles on your ovaries: while it's understandable to feel scared, endometriosis does lead to only a small increased risk of ovarian cancer. Research shows that between 1.8 to 17 percent of women with endometriosis develop ovarian cancer, with most studies showing it's on the lower end of that range.

The majority of people with endometriosis don't develop cancer. Additionally, when people with endometriosis do develop ovarian cancer, they're often diagnosed at earlier stages because they're already under medical care for their symptoms, which typically leads to better outcomes.

It's good that you have appointments scheduled. In the meantime, try to remember that bloating and feeling full are classic endometriosis symptoms, especially if you have ovarian cysts.
