I was at the hospital today and have been told the only option left for me is a hysterectomy. The dr has given me the option of either having womb, ovaries cervix removed or just my womb and ovaries. I am interested to hear others experience and thoughts on it.

I was told they can't guarantee getting all the endometriosis with a hysterectomy!

I had hysterctomy removing everything except my right ovary.
A year later I went back in as the endo had returned, including the left ovary removed again. It had regenerated.
16 months later I went in for my appendix removing and the endo had come back.
I'm now waiting to go in for potential bowel diversion, endo removing, right ovary & cyst removing and potentially cutting my bum and female bits open to clear rectovaginal up jx

My doctor also told me I'd need a hysterectomy. I found out I was pregnant 14 months later.

It's not a 100% fix, some women still have issues and some do fine (the women in my family haven't had any issues after hysterectomy) but they have to take ovaries cause it's a lot of the ovaries fault. My options are depo injection or total hysterectomy (I'm 24) and my dr is amazing and explained that it's pointless leaving the ovaries. I'm trying depo so far I'm ok, praying for you
