I'm looking at various drugs to control my pain. Has anyone here tried Femara??

Limit your drugs and look at alternative therapy.

Hi....I haven't taken it because it's not a good medication. Its recommendations are for post menopausal women. Unless you've had a hysterectomy or gone through menopause, you shouldn't take it. This medication is primarily used to treats breast cancer. The side effects are terrible....just like Lupron, there is a risk of bone loss.

The more reasearch you do, the better for you. Hope this helps hon! 💛

I've been on lupron 13 months with no add back until now and have no new bone density loss. I'm on the verge of osteopenia which I was before starting it. It effects everyone differently tho. For pain I do Lupron and Tramadol.
