I eat a healthy diet but was wondering if anyone had experiences with having less pain when cutting out wheat? And if using organic wheat makes a difference? I don't eat a great deal anyway but gluten/wheat is everywhere, I feel as if I'm being fussy by having to go places that are gluten free and buying wheat free products etc
I'm on norethidrone and amitriptyline and this has basically given me my life back. But as for food, it's a struggle. I have looked at several websites and found what is good to eat and what to stay away from. Wheat is one thing your suppose to stay away from. Go figure? !?!. Gluten free is the way to be. Pastas, bread, ect. Whole grains is good for u. Pintrist has a lot of wonderful recipes for gluten free foods. If ur a mushroom lover like me, tons of good recipes on there. Good luck.

Of course! Well I developed a cyst and had surgery and then stopped... the diet didn't do anything for the cyst pain. The surgery cleaned out the Endo and fibroid and cysts mess I had going on and I had pain relief for a couple months so I didn't go back to it.
I'm not sure gluten alone, but I did the Endo diet (which is cutting out more than just gluten) and I temporarily noticed a difference. I also had more issues than just Endo so maybe for that alone it would have helped? It's worth a shot!
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Thanks for the reply, when you say you temporarily noticed a difference does that mean it only helped for a short while or that you went back to eating gluten/dairy etc?
Thank you :)
