Does anyone have back pain caused by adhesions from their endo? If so, how were these diagnosed (e.g. during your surgery, etc.)? What does/did the pain feel like? I have a surgical diagnosis of endometriosis, and I'm starting to wonder if some of my low back pain might be caused by adhesions. Hey Shannon, back pain can be referred pain from the uterus, it doesn't necessarily have to be from adhesions. Pain is such a complex thing. Sometimes I get shooting pain up to my chest or down through my vagina.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I get the majority of my pains in my back. This is a common sign of adenomyosis. I went for an MRI scan and I was told I have borderline adenomyosis. Google it, you may seem some other symptoms that relate to it. It's basically a different type of endometriosis but where it's in the muscle of the womb rather than on the outside xx

I also get a lot of back pain from my Endo.
It wasn't until recently that a Specialist told me that I suffered from pelvic floor dysfunction. Apparently after years of painful cramps, my muscles are all tight and are not releasing anymore. I am seeing a pelvic floor therapist t help deal with this problem. This has been why my back and hips have been hurting me so bad.

I have the back pain too, but haven't been told specifically why yet. My doctor's say it could be because of the endo. I use a lot of heat pads :) when did they tell you what they were? I have my op coming up soon. Maybe they'll tell me xoxo
