Just wanted to get an idea about what the effects of Zoloft are if anyone has used it before
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member that’s awesome! Just like you said, medicines affect everyone differently, but Zoloft I think has more benefits than anything else. @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, good luck!! I hope you have a similar experience on the medicine!
I used it to treat my PMS -- only took it the 12 days before my period. It was generally useful. I felt foggy sometimes - the highs were lower and the lows were higher. I felt more even, but life also kind of felt a little dull as a result. But it's so true - everyone has very different responses to depressants.
Almost killed me. I had the rare side effects. Made me extremely angry, ruined my stomach, and turned my dreams into nightmares (not the regular kind. The kind of stuff where you know your living memory of the most horrifying thing you’ve felt was from a dream you had while on the drug. Drugs can do thijgs to your brain that no experience can.)
You never get into it thinking you’d have to pay attention to the rare side effects. Then it took years for me to figure out it was from the meds. Once I got off, I dramatically became normal and I was left dumbfounded and bitter about the pharmaceu/tical industry.
I could not take it due to horrific side affects.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member no I didn't gain any weight! I had a really hard time gaining weight back then. I was pretty underweight I just recently started putting on weight in the last two years and I haven't been on Zoloft in about five years. I literally had zero negative side effects from it.
