Appendicitis will hurt more when you "release"' from pressure. Lay down, press on your RLQ, then quickly remove your hands. If you scream its definitely your appendix. I was pretty mad when my surgeon showed that off to his residents of how to quickly identify suspected appendicitis. I've also heard it hurts when you jump up and down, but I didnt hear about that until after I went to the ER and had an emergency surgery. I wasn't diagnosed with endo until 11 years and 3 babies later, from what I can remember the pain I get from endo does remind me of the appendicitis at times, but with the appendicitis I was doubled over in pain for a good full day and in tears. I get a sour look on my face and bend slightly with the endo pain. Not quite as bad. Hope that helps!

I agree with the above response I also had appendicitis and you will definitely be able to tell and fortunately for me personally my pain got much much worse and I think I had a fever and I was definitely throwing up. Pain that stops you in your tracks where as my normal pain that I believe is endometriosis is still horrible but I don’t feel the need to go to an ER. Unfortunately there are some blurred lines as many people with endometriosis often do get appendicitis or Or it is also possible to have an inflamed appendix that is ongoing and gets inflamed in our current fashion that isn’t quite full blown appendicitis yet. If it doesn’t go away after a day or two I would definitely go to the ER as a precaution and on the plus side when you still have your appendix and they tend to take you in a lot faster. Since mine is out and I go to the ER it takes so long because they know I don’t have appendicitis ha ha

Thats my fear...was your appendix inflamed? One of my GI drs said I may have chronic appendicitis. But since my appendix is not yet showing inflammation they are leaving it. I wish my gyno just took it out while she was in there but she said it looked fine so she opted to leave it. I wonder if i had an endo specialist instead they prob wouldve lopped that sucker off as a precaution. Sucks.

Same here. LRQ everyday sharp cramp pain since January. Was certain it was appendix or ovary. U/S and CTs ruled out these things. Lap in July showed adhesion kinked my appendix and bowel loop together. Gyno lyst the adhesion but ive been worse since the surgery. As if she unleashed something even more painful. I truly feel i have not deep infiltration endo that is obvious but some sort of subtle endo on my bowel or appendix. Its hard to know day to day if im going to a dr or er because the pain escalates moment to moment. In soldarity
