I had my endometriosis excision surgery on August 14th. I immediately felt a decrease in pain. I have been taking Natazia continuously since then. I forgot to take one pill last Thursday, and have been experiencing horrible pain since then. I was doing well until Thursday. Is this normal? I’m starting to think that this surgery wasn’t effective, and I should start a round of Lupron.

It is possible that the pain may be due to adhesions. I had an ultrasound done on Friday, and hopefully will get the results soon. Natazia is a birth control that contains the progesterone Visanne. I probably won’t be able to use Lupron because I was just diagnosed with a chronic illness that would be exacerbated by it.

I never taken Lupron but i’ve heard horrible things about the side effects and that it may or may not help with pain, do you think this new pain could be adhesions forming post operatively? What is natazia?
