I had a laparoscopy nearly 3 weeks ago and have just not been myself since. They drained ovarian cyst and I need to have a second op as endo so bad. Also had coil fitted
I keep getting what I can only describe as pressure up my neck head and ears and makes my eyes a bit fuzzy. Not slept properly since the op, night sweats, light headed. That hasn't happened to me personally, but I had a lap 11 days ago and had a lot of swelling and a numb hand afterwards from the position I was in during the surgery. I wonder if that can be some of the reason for the pressure. I think most endo surgeries are in a position called steep trendelenburg, which is pretty close to standing on your head. I'm sure you're probably already planning to contact your doctor, but sounds like something he or she needs to know. I did not have this experience personally (knock on wood, there's still time lol), but I've heard some people say their hormones were a bit wacky after having surgery involving the ovaries, I wonder if that might be a factor in your anxiety. This all sounds so unpleasant and I hope you get some answers and relief 💛💛
