I’m sorry you are experiencing so much pain. I had excision surgery just over a year ago and my doctor put me on depo after my first two period cycles because I continued to get ovulation pain in my remaining ovary. My pain/bleeding between depo shots aren’t nearly as bad as before surgery. I am unsure how bad the pain/bleeding would be if I wasn’t on depo but do think it helps.

I’ve not had many side effects, which I was afraid it would. I’m am extremely sensitive to medication and have done really well on it. I’ve had weight grain with depo, but living in a pandemic probably doesn’t help. The one thing i will say I’ve experienced is that the depo only lasts 8 weeks and not 12 for me. I get my depo every 10 weeks but bleed heavily for 2 weeks sometimes longer. My doc is now suspecting I have adenomyosis. Next month, I’ll be getting mirena on top of depo as I am trying to delay having a hysterectomy. Let me know if I can help answer any other questions. Happy to help.

I've heard a lot of stories of people having negative experiences/side effects on lupron, so I'd encourage you to do a lot of research before you decide to commit to it. Much love <3
