I literally have pain every time I pee! I have endo in the posterior cul de sac. Anyone have any relief advice?!?
Hello - I wasn’t having pain with urination but had frequent urination, had to lean way forward to go, and never felt empty (would have to go right away again)… I also didn’t realise how limited my flow was. After just 2 sessions with an osteopath who does organ mobilisation/Mercier therapy it literally all went away! Its been a few months and has stayed! I would highly recommend finding a healthcare professional who does this type of manual therapy to get the bladder (and surrounding organs) moving, improve circulation to the pelvis etc. Good luck ladies!
I was going to the doctor thinking I had a uti very frequently too. I was told I had interstitial cystitis but turns out the urologist was wrong. Posterior cul de sac endo often resembles interstitial cystitis from what I was told. I just want to find some relief without taking hormones!
Some of symptoms I have are a constant burning pain and pressure in my vaginal area. Especially right after I urinate. Also painful sex and sometimes rectal pain as well. Like you I was told I had interstitial cystitis and to change my diet. It was determined during my hysterectomy that it was in deed the posterior cul de sac endo causing the problem.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I experience the same thing, and have been experiencing it more recently :( I would go to the doctor’s every month thinking I had a UTI and I would leave confused when they would tell me I didn’t. I spoke to my gynecologist about it and she told me there’s a possibility I have painful bladder syndrome, I think that’s not the medical term but if you Google it some information comes up on it.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member that’s what my gynecologist said I had, internal cystitis but she also gave me the term painful bladder syndrome.
Do you mind sharing a little more information on posterior cul de sac endo? What symptoms do you usually have? I always feel pain when I urinate now & sometimes I have to go to the bathroom right after I just went because all my urine doesn’t come out at once sometimes :( navigating all of this is so tough, specially because there really isn’t any cure, all my gynecologist told me for internal cystitis was to change my diet, and that hasn’t really helped much at all
