Could Endiometriosis Come Back?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

So, I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 23 or 24. I was having a lot of bloating, cramps, cramps that would buckle me over and not want to move. Went to see a a gyno they did a ultrasound and found out I had a 4cm mass n my left ovary and also an 8cm mass in my right ovary, so had surgery they took them out. But didn't find anything alongs the lines of endiometriosis. Everything was some what alright after that surgery
Went to gyno for check up, said that she found endiometriosis. It… read more

I was first diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 22 years old, at that time I had to have surgery to remove the endometriosis cyst because it had spread to my appendix, a few months after the operation I was pregnant with my first child and 2 years later my second child was born, I gave birth to my two children by caesarean section, 14 years later, September 2021, I felt very sick during my period, and the pain persisted even when my period was over, I had to take the pain reliever ibuprofen, I decided to go to the doctor and after being examined it turns out that the endometriosis cells have entered the muscle tissue of my uterus, yes I am positive for adenomyosis, the doctor advised me to use the Mirena IUD, but after almost a week, I still feel pain that comes and goes every day, and I am still dependent on Ibuprofen, i also read that mirena iud works slowly and the effect will only be an effective 3 to 6 months later

Sadly, yes. I've had a complete hysterectomy and I am.dealing with endo now. I had a good 8 to 10 year break about 5 years ago. Prayers for you.

I forgot to say that when I had to have the emergency surgery my gyno had me have a full hysterectomy due to the endo and all the webbing it did and was connected to. The pain that I feel most is on my lower left side.
Also I never got the chance to have any kids, I wasn't given the option.
But thank yu for yu answering me, appreciate it.
