Hey lovelies, I want to ask what apps you’re using to track your periods? Is there any specific ones out there made for endometriosis? I’ve been an avid user of Clue for years, however my periods are causing absolute carnage at the moment. right now it says my period was at the same time as ovulation? Which I could be wrong but that can’t/doesn’t happen right? I think it’s confusing the app as my periods have barely been 2 weeks apart (I know I’m crying too🥲) any suggestions would be greatly… read more

Hi dear, I started to use the "MyFlo Period Tracker Calendar - Alisa Vitti" and I'm really happy with it. As I do cycle syncing this app is very helpful and reminds me of what's best for me depending on my cycle phase. 🤗

& You're right; it is not possible to experience the menstrual and ovulatory phase at the same time. The period depends on the ovulation; that's why when your period is delayed, actually the ovulation was the one who's being late (because our body decided that it is not a good time to get pregnant; stress, not enough nutrition etc.).

Regarding bloating these are the things that help me:
- cycle syncing -> nutrition diet (much vegetables and fruits, less sugar and gluten...)
- avoiding or eating less inflammatory/ bloating causing foods (dairy, softdrinks, alcohol etc.) (especially in my lutheal and menstrual phase)
- I switched from drinking coffee or energy drinks to matcha or tea (Teas made from fennel, aniseed, green tea, caraway or chamomile are great for bloating. Mostly I go with green tea or chamomile. )
- avoiding chewing gum
- drinking a lot water or warm beverages
- warming belt for my belly
- putting castor oil in my bellybutton and on my belly massaging it in (this is not a verified method; it's an ayurvedic one; but I personally had great experiences)
- light endo yoga/ pilates or stretching
- Warm bath with Epson Salts
- supplements (not just for endo belly but in general); turmeric, omega 3, monk pepper, vitamins D3 + K2 + B6 + E + C , ashwaganda and magnesium.
- probiotics (I drink a little bit of Kefir everyday. 😊)

I hope you'll find something that helps you personally. As you see I tried many things and mostly they help me but on some days I just need to rest. Take care 💛

I use this free app, which has been very consistent with my period over the years. It's not specific to Endo, but allows you to enter symptoms and notes any day of the month and create/edit symptom names to customize it. Has really helped with tracking my migraine, GI and endo symptoms. Hope this helps! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=c...

Oh I’ve heard good things about Flo! That’s the same for me, there’s so much data on my app now - I’m not sure whether it’s worth even moving over to something else. I’m deffo downloading bear-able, a nicer way to document stuff rather than my notes app😂x

I don't know if there are any endo specific ones but i've used Flo for years. I mostly stick with it just because it has all this data from years I don't want to bother transferring! I like that it has both a notes section and a symptom icons section, it allows me to explain in detail what I feel like when I have the energy and otherwise I can just select an icon to indicate bloating etc. It takes a few cycles but then gets relatively accurate as long as your cycle is regular-ish.

lots of annoying pop-ups for the paid version (and a perenial 89% discount haha) but I've always used the free version.

There is also an app called bear-able for chronic illness that I know people use.
