I took myfembree for a year after my second endo removal surgery. It made my life much better. Took away the pain for 6 months. Then had to add another medication on top of it to help suppress another hormone that my doc said could be causing the endo to grow. I got off of it about a year later to try and have a kid. When after trying for 2 years my doc said I needed to go back on birth control because of the endo and PCOS and I could get cancer if I dont manage it. But while I was on myfebree it did help me. However, it is a short term solution. I have been told you should not take it more than 5 years. After my latest endo removal surgery, last month, the pain has come back and my doc wants to put me on depo lupron.

Reminder that Myfembree is used for chemotherapy treatment, and I'm only saying this because I was on it for months until my surgeon questioned it and took me off of it. IF the goal is to stop or kill the bad cells then fine, but just read about it to make sure it is the right medication for you!

I’m in the same boat I have stage 4 endo and endo in my intestines multiple surgeries .. my surgeon wanted me to take myfembree as well but I also did not want all the horrible side effects it’s like we already suffer enough from the endo pain why add in more and even have menopause symptoms.. i don’t want to take any of those either and my surgeon now tells me just have to wait for another clean up surgery,,

How did they know its in the thoracic region? My daughter has severe upper body around her ribs and chest pain. Have you tried another Dr?
