Anyone experience burning leg pain like your bones are on fire? Painful like I can’t walk. Any ideas what causes it and how to treat it?
Yes, burning leg pain and difficulty walking are common symptoms experienced with endometriosis. The pain can shoot down the legs and create intense discomfort that makes movement challenging. This happens because endometriosis can affect nerve pathways in the pelvic region that connect to the legs. Here are some ways to Show Full Answer
Thanks for sharing. I have a scan next month so will make sure to mention it.
Yeah, I get that too. The best thing I have found is to elevate my legs (I think it relieves the pressure on the nerve from the endo) and keep a cane nearby. Also, mention the leg pain to your endo doctor. My last surgery it had infiltrated part of my hip, and they wouldn't have known to look for it in imaging if I hadn't said anything! Was much better for several years after.
Thank you for replying. I’m sorry you have dealt with it for so long! I do also remember getting it in highschool but I’ve not had it for close to 10 years and had no idea it was related to endo!
I've suffered from that since I was a teenager. For me it feels like freezer burn. Doctors kept telling me growing pains. Heated pads have helped me wonders after I hit my twenties and realized they were wrong and the pain wasn't going away. Thank you for asking that question because now I know, and I'm sorry you have that symptom too.
