Why my mother never told me that she had it which could have allowed me to get checked out at an early age and possibly could have led to more children...but I'm grateful for the one I have! I didn't find out that she had it until after she passed away and after I got diagnosed. I found out from my aunt/mom's sister that my mom had it horribly when she was younger :(

Besides that...exactly what causes it is what I want to know.

I'd like to know exactly what causes it. I've heard about 5 different theories; upward menstruation, implants from birth, autoimmune disorder causes it...
