Endo Awareness Youtube
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi ladies. I hope that you're all coping well with your endo & that you're feeling peaceful (although probably unlikely). I'm wondering, I have a Youtube channel & am wanting to put up a video about what endo is & to share my journey with endo (to promote awareness of this condition, as well as to get us talking & sharing). What I'd like to know is if any of you would happen to have any advice or interesting tips that I could include in the video for those who may be watching? This could… read more

Third Laparoscopy For Endo Pouch Of Douglas & Pelvic Wall. Not Much Relief
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all,

Don't know if I just need to vent but some advice would be appreciated too. I had my third Laparscopy towards the end of May this year. The removed endo from the Pouch of Douglas and Pelvic Wall. After previous surgeries I have generally felt a good bit of relief in the coming months. I also have PCOS. I'm not feeling as much relief as I thought I would by now. This month has been horrific. I had two full weeks where I felt "periody" and had PMS bloating, moods, cramps etc. I finally… read more

If I'm honest I felt no relief from having a laparoscopy, I felt like my nerve endings were just on fire and it just allowed it to run rampant. UCLH referred to my pouch of diagnosis as an obliterated… read more

Hard Time After Op Getting Back To Work, Mentally Feeling Low
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had my first diagnostic laparoscopy surgery just over two weeks ago, 13th Oct. physically I feel well enough to try to get back to a normal routine and work. However after suffering my symptoms of endo for nearly 10years, with no doctors listening to me. Mentally I'm struggling. I'm relieved to find out I do have endometriosis, and I wasn't "crazy". But now it's hit me emotionally. I had my first day back in on Monday. I found it very tough. I'm a veterinary nurse, so I can't really take it… read more

I totally hear you and can relate 100% - especially going back to work so quickly, it doesn’t really give a lot of time to process the feelings and emotions, but I do think it will help keep my mind… read more

Night Sweats
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have night sweats constantly and I assume it's from the birth control or the lack of hormones because of the birth control, does anyone know more about this? Does anyone know if changing to a different birth control may help? Or is it caused by the endo itself? I can't see why it would be but saw many others have this problem too. I hate waking up constantly sweaty then cold then sweaty. Sigh.

Hello there, are you perhaps taking Visanne?

Feeling Like I Have To Use The Bathroom Much More
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone else find themselves going to the bathroom much more at night? During the time I am supposed to get my period, but don't because of the pills in on, I find myself feeling like I have to go to the bathroom every few minutes and it's only at night.

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Hmm.. Maybe that is what is causing the pain? 14 days out from Dr. Sinervo for me, I will ask him!
