Embrace the pillow, literally! Find a pillow, blanket, bolster, puppy, etc. that you can hug close to your abdomen when the pain flares up. The compression and warmth help. Be kind, go slow, and write it all down! Good luck 🙂

Be kind to yourself. Give yourself time to heal. Walking to and from the bathroom (with help) is good exercise. Just because your doctor says you should be able to get back to work after 2 weeks doesn't mean that YOU will be ready for that. I tried and quickly realized it was too soon. Listen to your body.

Not sure this is very helpful but this is what I feel like I learned looking back on my surgery. Wish you the best on healing ❤️
