Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. My mother told me she also had endometriosis when she was few years older than me and even with endometrioma in one ovarian, she could get pregnant and give birth to my sister.. Could you share with me if you have similar experiencesā¦ read more

Hi everyone, I am 51 and have been diagnosed endo 4 for many years, having ovarian cysts on both side, they are about 4 and 5 cm. I tried IUD before but only made it worse, so that was taken out. Lately the pain has been increased so I am revisit the idea of surgery. My doctor suggested me to remove both of my cysts and overies, but I done some research, overies are important even I am perimanopause. But only removing the cysts would be very difficult as my condition with Endo, so it won't be aā¦ read more

I have always been very curious to know the difference between endometriosis pain and pregnancy pain. After I heal from my surgery on Thursday I will be trying to get pregnant. I would like to know what to expect when it comes to labor pain. It may sound weird but I feel like once I go though labor I can more accurately describe my pain level to people. I can say that it feels like someone is stabbing my right ovary with a dull red hot icepick but I have never actually been stabbed so, I do notā¦ read more

Has anyone had excision surgery done by Robert Furr? I have a phone consult with him on Wednesday. He was listed on Nancy Nook's page. Thanks.
I am told he is fantastic. I know he is vetted and follows the footsteps of Dr. CY Liu whose daughter is also an excision specialist.
He left Chattanooga. I will be finding out where he is now.
I can count on one hand the times that me and my boyfriend have had sex in the last year- sad I know
I just had excision surgery back in May and of course I'm terrified of getting back on the horse... seemed like an appropriate analogy. We have tried once since my surgery after waiting long enough and it still hurt but at the time I wasn't on any type of birth control so we had to use a condom and my fun parts have never agreed with most types. I'm thinking that was the main problem (more likeā¦ read more
Sorry to hear about your situation with your partner. My ex-husband is understanding of my condition and he is still supportive even though we didn't have sex. I believe education for men and eveyoneā¦ read more

Gluten. Red meat. Dairy. Sugar. High processed foods. Alcohol. Caffeine. Smoking. can all make endo worse š
When I get sick I get it much worse and longer than most people
Yes! I hate getting sick because it always seems to hit me harder than people around me who get sick. I grew up with a mother who has a compromised immune system so I always suspected I was justā¦ read more
New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder. Any of you who have had a hysterectomy please tell me how long did it take until you could move around at least for anā¦ read more
