I started taking visanne 7-8 weeks ago and had a noticeable reduction in pain however my first cycle while on the medication hasnt stopped and I'm going on 4 weeks. My gyno is suggesting I tough it out since it's working to reduce pain but I'm inclined to stop if the bleeding continues. Everything I've read so far about visanne indicates your period should become lighter and maybe even disappear so I'm wondering if anyone else had this side effect and was there a way to stop the bleeding?

For those of you who have been on Visanne did you notice a change in your periods? My first one on it came late and lasted for about two weeks and this one is even later or possibly non-existent I had some cramps around the time I should have gotten it and maybe a drop. Can it stop your period altogether? My doctor never mentioned it when she prescribed it to me and it slipped my mind to ask. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I have not been getting periods since 4 months. I feel fatigue all the time. I am unable to walk for 15 minutes actively and if I do, I'll have to sleep for at least one hour. I have cramps sometimes but no sign of periods. I have been on medication of dienogest visaane. I had taken it in last December 2023 for 28 days and from that period, I have been just waiting for periods. Due to this, I haven't been able to focus on my studies also. Mental and physical fatigue are too much.

Hi ladies. I've had 3 shots of zoladrx and the last one being 9th Feb. It's 3rd April and still no period. Do you havd any experience? How long does it take for periods to come back?

I wanna know if someone who is going through what I am going through. I'm on Visanne from 4 months, my periods have stopped completely now. The pain is almost gone too. But when it hurts it hurts really really bad. And I am really really sleepy that whole time. I've been in pain from the last 3 days. And all I wanna do is sleep. I’m 3 weeks late and have taken multiple pregnancy tests- all negative. I know periods can be abnormal post-lap but when is it too long for it to just be a “missed period”?

If you have, do you find it actually helps the pain atall? I’ve had my coil in for around 3 years & if anything the pain seems 10x worse now than before hand. I’ve also been suffering with chronic UTI’s & bladder problems for the past year & I am under urology for this as they would like to see if it’s being cause by the endometriosis.
