Hi ladies,
Hubby and I are considering doing IVF. Would love to hear from those of you that have done it. I have endo and fibromyalgia. I am not sure how much worse my pains cam get if I go through with IVF. Not even sure if it'll work since I have endo. We've been trying for 5 years, but sex is pretty painful so we are not super active. Sorry for the TMI.
I’m too scared to try IVF and it not take. We don’t have the money for that. But I am curious, what diagnosis came first endo or fibromyalgia?
I have stage 3 Endo and I'm 29 years old and seriously considering freezing my eggs! Have any of you done this? I heard insurance covers the cost if you have stage 3 or 4 Endo
I think it's worth talking to a fertility specialist about. However, freezing your eggs is still a very new process (the current method started in 2012). Most people that have been pregnant from these… read more
Hi everyone
I'm super new here and just came across this site in my bid for research and answers
I'm not diagnosed with Endo but have recently seen a gastro specialist for possible irritable bowel syndrome. I have been TTC #2 for over 4 1/2 years, and everytime I get pregnant, it ends in a chemical pregnancy at exactly the same time every time. I get +ve tests (including low HCG bloods) for a few days in a row, they never get darker then they get fainter, till it's -ve and my period arrives.… read more
In a nutshell here is what i went through. After one of my many laps, my gyne had me try 2 rounds of clomid/estrace/trigger shot. Both failed. The clomid caused cysts. She referred me to ivf dr. Had… read more
I will be doing my 2nd round of IVF in a few weeks. In my first round, I had 23 eggs retrieved and 8 fertilized into good quality embryos. After a fresh transfer, I had an ovarian ectopic pregnancy and they had to remove my right ovary in the surgery to remove the pregnancy. They also found stage 4 Endometriosis (I knew I had it, just not that bad) and I went on to have laparoscopic surgery shortly after. Once recovered, I tried transferring the remaining 7 embryos one month at a time and none… read more
Yes will do
Hey, is anyone else trying for a baby and getting nowhere? Both me and my other half have problems and we are currently waiting for ivf... Just wondering if anyone going through this as well?
Wondering if anyone having issues conceiving has tried having a laporoscopy done to "clean out" the endo that could be blocking pregnancy?
There are 5ks and road races for every other ailment out there, but why are there no races for Endo awareness? I was searching on active.com and was disappointed that my search turned up no results. We apparently need to come up with our own ice bucket challenge. Any ideas?

Last year I was in so much constant pain that I did not ride my motorcycle at all. I'm hoping to be able to get out this year... But has anyone had to give it up completely? Or are you able to ride still?
I had to give up biking completely for almost a year. Post op w dr. Sinervo I've been able to take short rides. I've never ridden a motorcycle though.
I have the option to remove my uterus... Which I'm leaning towards. I'm honestly at my heaviest weight I've ever been and I'm trying to figure out how to plan for after the surgery. I'm trying to be optimistic that I'll finally feel better and if that's the case maybe I can finally focus on my fitness. I appreciate honest feedback!
I would do it if my doctors gave me that option. As for fitness I recommend yoga. Super easy and it helps with the pain.
I am looking for information--I have heard some horror stories, and I am looking for resources and information.
on Dec 27th 2006, my Dr induced me, and 6 hours later my little 6lb nothing second son was born. Healthy as my first, after the cord being wrapped around his neck 2x, and almost killing him, with… read more
I have issues with procedures with speculum. Finding one facility in network with my insurance that offers FET with embryo donor under sedation which has made me so happy because of the issues that I would have with this procedure. I am wondering if anyone else has found a facility willing to do the FET under sedation?
