CEC Feedback And Symptom Question
I am doing my reading at Nancy's Nook but additional conversation would be helpful to me on two topics
1. I have experienced joint pain each month in correlation with ovulating or right before or after my period. Does anyone else experience this and do you know if this is related to endo?
2. I don't believe there is specialist care in Indiana where I live. I am thinking about a record review and consultation with CEC in Atlanta. Anyone receive care there and have feedback they can share? And… read more

Depo Shot Not Working Anymore?
I’ve been on the depo shot for two and a half years, and had a laparoscopy 6 months after starting. They told me they were able to remove about 75% of the endo based on where it was located, so they kept me on the depo thinking it would prevent more tissue growth. Within the past couple of months, I’ve started having really intense periods every 2 or 3 months rather than spotting, and they’re heavier and more painful than before I started any form of birth control. Could this be a sign that the… read more

Does Anyone Experience Partial Blacking Out/dizziness/light Headedness Frequently?
I frequently experience partial blackouts when I go from sitting to standing: my field of vision narrows and darkens considerably and I get dizzy. It resolves in 3-10 seconds. It has gotten more frequent since the onset of daily endometriosis pain 14 months ago. It happens multiple times every day. Has anyone else had experience with this?
I've brought this up to gynecologists when I go to discuss endo and PCOS treatment, but they aren't too interested.
I am experiencing dizziness now. And im about to sleep . I cannot sleep because it seems everytime i close my feel dizzy
Heating Pad
I've used an electric and microwave heating pad extensively to deal with endometriosis pain in my low back. Now the skin in that area is darker and blotchy. Is this something to be concerned about?
It has a particular name, I got it when my IUD was playing up and I was attached to my hot water bottle, your blood vessels like permanently dialate from the heat. A lot of endo sisters have it and… read more

What Questions Did You Ask Your Surgeon Before Laparoscopy?
I do have a fairly lengthy list, but want to make sure I'm asking everything I might possibly need or want to know at my pre-op.
Thanks in advance!
1. What he or she plans to do in the procedure, especially if they plan on taking organs. If you want to keep your ovaries/uterus make sure that’s not in the plan. It shouldn’t be unless previously… read more
Side Effects On Voice From Danazol?
Hi everyone, my doctor wants to start me on Danazol. I'm a singer and have read studies that say it could permanently alter the voice. Has anyone had this experience with Danazol or is this not a very common side effect?
Thank you so much, ladies!!! I got off the Danazol immediately and am now looking into excision surgery.
Excision Surgery
Hi ladies,
So I haven’t started the process of trying to conceive yet as I just got off my Depo about a week ago. When I had my obgyn appointment a few weeks ago my doctor (whose not my normal obgyn) explained to me I should try naturally for 6 months before looking into seeing a fertility specialist. After this I did more research on Endo and found that cysts could block the Fallopian tubes not allowing spark to travel. I don’t know if I want to even start trying without knowing everything is… read more
Try relaxing. Give yourself as much time as you feel you need. I think when you're ready you should go for it naturally. At some point you may, again may need assistance. But for now why have any… read more
