I live in a third world country where there is a lot of meddling from everyone in everyones lives, sometimes they mean well, other times they just want to know peoples business just because. When I tell people about my endo I usually get a lot of "oh, so and so had the same thing and she drank this and got cured" "if you just pray everything will be ok" "you're just too focused on the negatives". How do you deal with these comments on a daily basis? I know I'm not supposed to let them get to me… read more
I might steal the Google it part, it sounds like a good way to end the conversation
I'm wondering how many others suffer with both conditions at the same time?
I've been really struggling with joint pain for a few years now, particularly in my knuckles, wrists and knees. I've recently booked a doctors appointment, but before that I've been doing a bit of research myself and found out that Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune disorder. Everyday I'm becoming more and more convinced that Endometriosis is also an auto-immune disorder, there's too many connections - for me anyway… read more
It's interesting that many have commented about rhinitis. I have a history of sinus infections that started when I was around college age and had GI issues start at the same time... I bet it was endo… read more

Is it really that much of a change if I switch to eating more healthy?
YES YES YES. I went mostly gluten and dairy free and it was a gamechanger
I have suspected endometriosis on the diaphragm and even possibly in the thoracic cavity. I have started getting horrible cases of hiccups, they hurt so bad. I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this?
Possible cause my wife gets these attacks during meals although she ears too little by nature
Had robotic laparoscopic removal of tissue for stage 4 deep pelvic endo back in Dec 2018. Had another hemorrhagic cyst rupture in Feb. My symptoms seem to have all returned, though not as severe. I'm wondering if anyone has had it return after surgery?
I've had laser once and two excision surgeries and hysterectomy. It still came back, each time w/in 12 months. Some of us are just that lucky, I guess. I assume that I have it somewhere that they… read more
I am debating when and if to get the laprascopy to get a real diagnosis. I work as a Massage Therapist, without PTO and am also still recovering from Lymphoma. Its been a hard year.
To alleviate some of the endo pain and have a "band aid" solution until surgery I went on the BC Pill, Apri, which is a low dose of hormones. Currently on month 3 and its barely helping. I guess my ? is how long was your recovery from the lap? Ive been given vague answers like 2-6 weeks!
Thank you so much, Gabi4! Wow, I am glad to hear you decided to go through with it! I am still torn, but all of the responses are helping!
I'm 17 years old right now and have been dealing with chronic pain(abdominal and migraines) since I was 12. It started with dually migraines and then went into daily nausea. I went to every odctot possible and they couldnt figure out what it was. I have been in the ER too often to count. It went over too extreme abdominal pain more in the upper area and then in the lower area also. I was checked for gallstones through ultrasound and blood tests. I also had a CAT scan done and two upper and one… read more
Love I am dealing with chronic pain I have both I trying to figure out what can help.
I get waves of nausea A LOT. I vomit sometimes, but mostly it is just nausea. Sometimes it comes with an ovarian cyst, but sometimes not. My first doctor said it was common with endo. My current doctor insists that it is not a symptom of endo. She made me see a gi doctor for it, who seemed to think it was all in my head. :( Is there anyone else who gets nauseous even when they are not in much pain?
YES, I have this issue ALL THE TIME!!! My doctors say its common with endo. I hate it (I have no life and sometimes scared to do anything just incase the symptoms start). I also went to see a GI for… read more
As an ICU staff nurse, my dedication to delivering exceptional patient care is unwavering. However, being mindful of my endometriosis, I'm concerned about the impact of lifting heavy patients on my well-being. This apprehension stems from a genuine desire to balance optimal patient care with managing my health effectively.
I can't speak for everyone, but it does bother me. My uterus is retroverted, so the endo had also grown at my lower back causing back problems. I'm also a nurse, but I choose patients (I'm in private… read more
