Does Anyone Else Get Pms Symptoms During The Ovulation Phase Of Their Cycle?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm 45, and for the last two years, I've been experiencing surges of anxiety, cramping, and a general feeling of illness during ovulation. Today, I woke up and shortly after felt a feeling of dread and fear, similar to a panic attack. I've been pelvic cramping all day, and not just a twinge in my ovary like mittelschmerz. I had a pelvic ultrasound two weeks ago and it was all normal. I don't know what hormone is causing this, but I wish doctors would test for it to determine the best course of… read more

Do Any Endo Sisters Wake Up Soaked In Sweat?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Not every day,but most of the week i wake up several times during the night/morning soaked in sweat. I mean my hair, clothes everything are soaked and my room is freezing?!?!? Its the most horrible feeling. My doctors don't know what's causing it. I read online it could be hormonal problems. Just hoping maybe someone else experienced it so i can make some sense to my doctor.

I think in your case it’s hormones. For me I have that when I ate sugar the day before weird ha😅

How Long Until I Will Be Able To Move Around For A Whole Day After My Hysterectomy? How Bad Is The Pain? What Was Hormone Replacement Like?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder. Any of you who have had a hysterectomy please tell me how long did it take until you could move around at least for an… read more

Has Anyone Ever Tried The Newest Mini Pill, Slynd ?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I tried 3 IUDs and my body rejected all 3; then tried Norethrindrone and I hated it . My weight changed for the worse and it effected my mood. So I stopped . My doc told me about a newer pill called Slynd . Wondering if anyone else has had experience with this ?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

You're most welcome. Incidentally, I'm not sure where you are in your endo journey. Birth control can help, but really they just mask symptoms. It's important that your doctor tell you that it doesn't… read more
