If so, do you think 1 condition can flare up the other and ideas of causes and/or best ways to manage flare-ups and symptoms?
I have both. And yes I do believe the flare ups overlap/combine.
I just had sex for the third time ever but for the second and third time, I felt a sharp pain shoot from my butt and lower back. I didn’t feel the pain in my lower abdomen though. The pain was worse off when doing the doggy style. Is this normal during the first times you have sex or I actually have endometriosis.
I have had a laparoscopy and I feel the same way. Doggy Style is a hell no because it hurts so badly. The only way I can do it without pain is on my back and I have to take it slow at first no matter… read more
For me i get hot flashes off and on from my endometriosis.
Has anyone delevoped endo/symptoms after a c-section? I never had health issues or endo symptoms until I had my son via c-section in 2016. Took over a year to finally be diagnosed with stage one endo. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
Ugh hate that for you. Is there anything you do to alleviate symptoms during your cycles?

Thanks so much. 💛
This is actually something I’ve been really struggling with, and the symptoms are the only thing I’m too embarrassed to share with my doctor. My endometriosis has spread to several different organs… read more
Oh definitely….. I agree

Before that, I was diagnosed with IBS due to severe bloating, gas, and diarrhea. My period is normal, regular, and the majority of my most painful symptoms during my period are GI related. I wouldn't say I have severe menstrual cramping. I also have pelvic tightness and bladder symptoms. I'm starting to feel a bit crazy because I keep having to tell my doctors that my periods… read more
It's completely possible not to have any pain. Some patients only find out they have endo when undergoing other surgeries like yourself.
