Butt And Lower Pain During Sex
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just had sex for the third time ever but for the second and third time, I felt a sharp pain shoot from my butt and lower back. I didn’t feel the pain in my lower abdomen though. The pain was worse off when doing the doggy style. Is this normal during the first times you have sex or I actually have endometriosis.

Endo After C-section
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone delevoped endo/symptoms after a c-section? I never had health issues or endo symptoms until I had my son via c-section in 2016. Took over a year to finally be diagnosed with stage one endo. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Symptoms Of Bowel Endo? 🫠
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey endo warriors. 💛 Anyone here experience bowel endo before? I had a hysterectomy and multiple laparoscopies for endo in the past, and my doctors suspect it’s back. After doing some digging, it seems like bowel endo is the type of endo that’s back, but I don’t know if my symptoms make sense. If anyone feels comfortable sharing theirs, that’d be so so helpful. Thanks so much. 💛

This is actually something I’ve been really struggling with, and the symptoms are the only thing I’m too embarrassed to share with my doctor. My endometriosis has spread to several different organs… read more

Anyone Have Endo Without Severely Painful / Heavy Periods?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all, I was diagnosed with endo coincidentally by my surgeon who saw lesions during surgery to remove my gallbladder. Before that, I was diagnosed with IBS due to severe bloating, gas, and diarrhea. My period is normal, regular, and the majority of my most painful symptoms during my period are GI related. I wouldn't say I have severe menstrual cramping. I also have pelvic tightness and bladder symptoms. I'm starting to feel a bit crazy because I keep having to tell my doctors that my periods… read more

It's completely possible not to have any pain. Some patients only find out they have endo when undergoing other surgeries like yourself.
