I just started zoladex. I am feeling horrible and the hormone imbalances are creating so many problems... I hate all of the side effects. I am having the hardest time taking all of my meds on top of it. But my insurance doesn't approve Lupron.

Because of my PCOS and endometriosis, I suffer from chronic pain and anemia which has led to significant weight gain (more than 60 lbs, 20 of it in the last 3 months). Now I’m going for a full hysterectomy in April and beginning hrt shortly afterward. I would appreciate any advice and/personal experiences. Thank you!

I can't count how many times I actually fainted today. I spent most of my day in bed with depression consuming me, but I had to be so careful every time I got up because I know I'd just fall right back onto my bed. I didn't have the strength to blow dry my hair after my shower and even showering made me short of breath and dizzy. I started bleeding lightly today, first day of my strange irregular cycle maybe? Just wondering if anyone here has any other conditions along with their endo.. for example I have a herniated disk in my back and fibromyalgia and was curious to know if anyone is suffering with these things as well or just any other conditions..

Hi ladies. I've had 3 shots of zoladrx and the last one being 9th Feb. It's 3rd April and still no period. Do you havd any experience? How long does it take for periods to come back?

I have stage 4 rectovaginal endometriosis. I am waiting for my operation. Most possibly the surgery will happen sometime next year. I was on progesterone since January after a laparoscopy. My periods are constant & it is not stopping even after mirina & oral progesterone. I am in constant pain 24/7. The doctors have stated zoladex injection. Previously with progesterone & now with zoladex my weight has skyrocketed from 64kgs to 80kgs. I have hypothyroidism as well. Can anybody advice me how to… read more

I had surgery at the end of March to remove fibroids and confirm Endo. My gynae put me on a 6 month course of Zoladex post-op. Its literally been 1 month since the end of the 6 mth cycle and I'm in pain. Has anyone had this experience? I'm doing some reading and came across Visanne/Dienogest, is that a better treatment/management method??

My specialist wants to start a 6 month course of Zoladex after my excision surgery. I was previously on Lupron for 4 years. The side effects were terrible, but it was the only thing that took away my endo pain.
Has anyone tried the Zoladex implant injection? What to expect? Side effects?
