Has Anyone Struggled With Low Estrogen Levels For No Obvious Reason?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I'm specifically asking women who still have their ovaries and are premonopause are not on any hormone inhibitors (like Lupron). It is so weird to me because it starting showing in my bloodwork after excision surgery and my hysterectomy (complete, not radical) that I have low estrogen levels. I figured it was my body adjusting to the excising of the endometriomas as well as maybe the removal of my tubes, but the low estrogen has continued to stay abnormally low and I am definitely experiencing… read more

Sex Life And Physical Relationship
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I can count on one hand the times that me and my boyfriend have had sex in the last year- sad I know
I just had excision surgery back in May and of course I'm terrified of getting back on the horse... seemed like an appropriate analogy. We have tried once since my surgery after waiting long enough and it still hurt but at the time I wasn't on any type of birth control so we had to use a condom and my fun parts have never agreed with most types. I'm thinking that was the main problem (more like… read more

How Long Until I Will Be Able To Move Around For A Whole Day After My Hysterectomy? How Bad Is The Pain? What Was Hormone Replacement Like?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder. Any of you who have had a hysterectomy please tell me how long did it take until you could move around at least for an… read more

Is It Normal To Feel "turned On" Following Endo Surgery W Full Hysterectomy?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

So, last week (almost exactly 1 full week ago), I had a full hysterectomy, endometriosis excision, and removal of cysts. I have endo and highly suspected adenomyoisis as well.

I have never really been interested in sex. I've considered myself asexual because it just isn't something I think about and I don't feel sexually attracted to others. However, for the last three days, I have been having a lot of weird, vivid sexual dreams. Like, a LOT. Sometimes I'll have 1 or 2 days during my cycle when… read more

Doubting On Visanne
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. My mother told me she also had endometriosis when she was few years older than me and even with endometrioma in one ovarian, she could get pregnant and give birth to my sister.. Bleeding Between Periods?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

As things have progressed, I find myself wondering what is “normal.” This might be TMI but does anyone else get vaginal bleeding/spotting outside of their period when trying for a bowel movement? I know it’s vaginal. I had it earlier on but it seems to just be worse and worse. Thanks ladies.
