I've had it 4 months. I have an appt on Thursday. My doc wanted me to wait 3-6 months to give it a chance. I'm getting more new symptoms. I'm in pain every day. I feel like my insides and expanding and stretching apart. I currently don't get prescribed any pain meds. I can get through work and that's about it.

My gynecologist told me that she felt a pelvic mass on a bimanual exam that suggested to her that I might have an endometrioma or more on the other side of my vaginal cuff. She also noted a polyp on the vaginal side of the cuff that might be endometriosis. Why would a transvaginal ultrasound and a CT scan find absolutely nothing, when I was in so much pain that I needed hydromorphone in the ER to control it?

So about 3months ago I got rushed into hospital with a big bleed, severe pain and cramp, drs tried to fob me off with constipation but I knew it wasn’t this, I’ve had bad periods for over 5 years now irregular bleeding, constant cramps etc also flipping tired!! I'm specifically asking women who still have their ovaries and are premonopause are not on any hormone inhibitors (like Lupron). It is so weird to me because it starting showing in my bloodwork after excision surgery and my hysterectomy (complete, not radical) that I have low estrogen levels. I have been on Visanne 2mg for 6 weeks. The spotting/light bleeding started 10 days after I was on the pill, and until today, the bleeding never stopped. It got a bit heavier starting at week 5: bright red blood with some small clots, but much less bleeding than a regular period. From time to time, I got cramps and I took an Advil, then I can carry on without any problem. But for the last 3-4 days, my pain is getting much much worse. So I have a few days left on my pill and had surgery a week and a half ago. Yesterday I started bleeding heavier and having some pretty intense cramps, which could also be being a bit off about taking my birth control since I’m not having the best time recovering from surgery. Just had my laparoscopy done 2 days ago and the doctor wants me to start to take progesterone only pill for 8 weeks continuously until I see him. I had spotting after I started the 1st pill last night. I don't really know the bleeding is from the laparoscopy or the pill....anyone has similar experience to share?

Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. My mother told me she also had endometriosis when she was few years older than me and even with endometrioma in one ovarian, she could get pregnant and give birth to my sister.. Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to deal with the side effect of birth control. i have been place on several different types of pill ( both combine and progesterone only), to help with suspected endometriosis. New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder.
