Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. My mother told me she also had endometriosis when she was few years older than me and even with endometrioma in one ovarian, she could get pregnant and give birth to my sister.. Don't know if I just need to vent but some advice would be appreciated too. I had my third Laparscopy towards the end of May this year. The removed endo from the Pouch of Douglas and Pelvic Wall. After previous surgeries I have generally felt a good bit of relief in the coming months. I also have PCOS. I'm not feeling as much relief as I thought I would by now. This month has been horrific. My daughter has endo and has had 3 laps and is not getting any better. We located Dr. Robbins and she is scheduled for surgery with him next week. Been having this for last couple of weeks, ive been having prostap injections for 5 months and have a coil, any ideas what it could be? Im sure its not gas! I have 2 kids so i know what its like when a baby kicks and it feels exactly the same

My gynecologist told me that she felt a pelvic mass on a bimanual exam that suggested to her that I might have an endometrioma or more on the other side of my vaginal cuff. She also noted a polyp on the vaginal side of the cuff that might be endometriosis. Why would a transvaginal ultrasound and a CT scan find absolutely nothing, when I was in so much pain that I needed hydromorphone in the ER to control it?

I work in a corporate office setting with typical cubical seating and office attire dress code. Lately I’ve been having a lot of flare ups on work days, leading to anxiety and stress. I often leave halfway through the shift to go home to change into less restrictive clothing and to use a heating pad. I am new to this and have been going to doctors with pain since January this year. I finally was referred and went to my OBGYN in July. She diagnosed me with Endo and said to take constant contraceptive pills for 6 months to try to manage the pain. So far I'm only 7 weeks into the 6 months and I'm struggling with the pain more and more each day. New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder.
