Most of you know I just transferred doctors offices. I haven't met with my new normal gyne yet. The gyne I met with was the one available for the post ER check in with your doctor appointment. Does it matter to you if you have a female/male gyne? Who do you have? I know this sounds sexist, but I think it would be different if I didn't have the history of Endo and cysts. I'm not so sure when I was 20 and had surgery that male gyne surgeons and assistants would have been as careful to protect my… read more
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member in fact, my surgeon is from Canada but lives in Georgia now to have a great hospital to work out of
I have several painful conditions, endometriosis being one of them, my pain is so severe and now been hospitalized twice due to small bowel obstruction. Also they found I have an autoimmune type of esophagitis. My insides are constantly inflamed and my cysts are very painful especially before and during my period and it’s getting worse every month, last two periods I ended up in the ER. I can barley eat due to all the stomach issues and the fatigue is real. Any advice for getting disability??
Have you seen an arthritis, autoimmune doc. Had blood work ran? That is your first step to getting answers, what about a neurologist as well? Those 2 will be the most important, besides your… read more

We are new to this disease, and my husband has been having trouble knowing how to help me, or what to say. I have done a little research trying to find stuff to help him, but not much has come up that is useful. Are there any blogs or books written by a man for a man about Endo?
My husband has started a blog to help him process. He wants it to be a place for men to help one another through this journey of Endo. If any of your men are interested in reading or contributing… read more

I know it won’t cure endo but any thoughts on the… read more

I had an internal ultrasound today for pain new pain had for 2 months they’ve found quite a large cyst inside my ovary. I may just be panicking over nothing but I was meant to be trying for a baby about now. I only have 1 ovary and I’m so concerned 1. It could burst and burst my ovary and 2. That the gyne may have the take my ovary out. I’m quite frankly terrified, I’ve always wanted kids, there’s nothing I want more. Any advice or experiences people have had I would be so grateful to hear 💛
