Hi
I'm 25, in Australia, and new to this amazing site!
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with alternatives to visanne?
I was diagnosed this year (2020) with stage 3 to 4 endo and had my first laproscopy on March 11th. I've been taking Visanne since the start of April and my period stopped almost immediately, and I gained a fair amount of weight, so much so that my family commented on it.
Lately, in the last two months or so (as of today 20th October) I've had other than the weight… read more
Oh my l have been on vissane for over a year now and the pain is close to non existent except little discomfort here and there, l have gained weight, been emotional and cry easily and l somehow never… read more
So my dr said she doesn’t want me to have surgery *also to even confirm I have endo. She said based off my symptoms she can diagnose me with endo* and tries to avoid it until her patients are older. She suggested I try Orlissa or Lupron for my endo. I’ve horrible things about of those medications and don’t know what to do. I guess my question is what are some of y’all’s experiences with those meds and do you think I try one or find an obgyn who will do the surgery?
For me i get hot flashes off and on from my endometriosis.
Im thinking about starting GnHR next month.that was some advice i got of a private specialist
Will that make your body believe that you are in pre menopause?
Is anyone familiar with the term chocolate cysts and its effects?
I am in pain since my laparoscopy and coil, the doctor said I would only know what’s causing it if I removed the coil.
When I asked what I would use next to prevent the endo from growing back, the doctor suggested the monthly injections?
Have anyone any experience with injections and its side effects?
Feel lost since I was diagnosed and not feeling supported by doctors.
The zoledex injection implant worked for me I had no pain besides abit of down feeling but that over no pain at all was the best. Mayb ask about that
My doc has proposed it as the likely treatment option after my first laparoscopy in July. I usually react terribly with loads of side effects to hormonal medicines like birth control so trying to gather info before I decide
Haven’t done it they haven’t even done a lypscopy on me or endo surgery just d and c gallbladder removed and removed an ovary because of a cyst
Im on them now and just want to know what poeple experienced after they stopped the injections. Xx
*these are montly stomach injections for 6 months or 2x over six months. They bring on temporary menopause**
Is that Lupron that makes your body believe that you and perimenopause is that that has so many things done that I have no idea at this point. I’m just going back in time.
I'm about to start it- will let you know.🤞
Hi im finding it really hard controlling my enotions one minute angry then crying my eyes out then happy, a proper rollarcoaster..with GnRH it works as a chemical hysterectony so im having menopause, the hot flushes and bight sweats are manageable but being so emotional and stressed sometimes causes flare ups.
A local hospital performed my surgery last year but im no longer with them as the neglected me and my dr referred me to birmingham womens hospital and i am in the care of a proffessor. Im using GnRH… read more
After my first laproscopy last year, I developed a cyst again in April 2023 and I am under treatment since then. I am planning to conceive and my doctor gave me 2 injections of zoladex in 1 month gap to reduce the cyst. I started with 5cm and after 3 months it's 7.3cm. Obviously it didn't work for me but he is too confident that I don't need a surgery and my cyst can be reduced and I can further go for pregnancy. Has anyone been in this situation before where zoladex turned out to be not… read more
