I'm Havent Been Diagnosed With Endo, But I Am 90% Sure I Have It. What Are Your Personal Symptoms?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I haven't been diagnosed, but as I said I am very sure I have it. My doctor refuses to do testing even though I have
1 - had a c-section which caused a major amount of tissue
2- it runs in my immideate family
3- I have constant pelvic pain which radiates into sharp pains at least 3 times a day.
4- I have had a "cyst" on my ovaries for over 6 months now
5- I can't get pregnant.

I am very concerned about this as I know how much my family is in pain because of this and how many… read more

I would recommend finding a new doctor. Unfortunately, you may have to meet several of them before you find the one who understands this disease. When I moved from FL to NC for a few years, I went to… read more

Back And Neck Pain
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

So when I was younger my oain was always the same, concentrated on the left side, really sharp, and woulf radiate out and that's just how my pain always presented. As I've gotten older and my pain has changed and now on top of thd leftside pain I'll also feel achey all over, or I'll have pain that follows my spine. Does anyone else experience bad back/neck pain?

Is There Anyone Who Had Surgery At A Young Age?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am 19 years old, and I was diagnosed when I was 14 and my endo has only gotten worse along with cysts growing in my ovaries. I dropped out of school to homeschool because the pain and sickness were keeping me home too often. I have tried many types of birth control and over the counter pain relievers. Nothing has helped, but my doctors refuse to do anything because I'm too young. I was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation or know someone the doctors refused removal because of… read more

How To Speed Up The Diagnosis Process?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone! When I first got my period at 10 years old (10 years ago now), I had extreme pain and so went to my gynaecologist who suggested that it may be endometriosis, but due to how young I was decided against doing a laparoscopy. Over the years I have tried 3 different types of birth controls, many different pain killers, anti inflammatories, etc., and I recently had an IUD put in. The pain has gotten worse over the years (and started to include massive back cramps, leg pain, etc.) and I am… read more

Anyone Ever Had To Use Dilators? If So Do You Have Any Tips? For Some Reason The Past Month My Downstairs Has Turned Into A No Entrance!
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Were meant to be trying for a baby in a months time, it just won’t go in and when it does I tare down there. My PTSD has been bad lately something happened to me as a child for years that relates to this issue. I don’t know weather it is that or weather my endo has got bad again (I’ve had it removed from the walls down there before) I’ve brought a set of dilators and it’s bloody painful. Just wondered if anyone’s gone through this?

Hello, I've had this issue for a while. Sex and tampons are a no go now. I've been seeing a physio at a women's clinic who recommended a perifit. It is an investment at £120. Its a vaginal exerciser… read more

Surgery Or No Surgery?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello,

I have been trying to get pregnant for approx. 4 years. Since getting off birth control 4 years ago I've been having many negative symptoms (painful, heavy, and clotted periods, infertility issues, I am ALWAYS tired with much less energy, and more.). I have had over 8 doctors (not an exaggeration) tell me that I "likely" have endometriosis due to my symptoms BUT that they cannot diagnose me officially because they can't see anything when they've performed ultrasounds (and I have had a… read more

How Many Of Us Out There Have Terminal Endo?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Terminal meaning there is more endo in my pelvic and abdomen than anything else. If they removed it all I'd fall apart LOL. If I were a dog I would have been put down a long time ago. Seriously though, my surgeon refuses to take any more out, the risk of damaged organs and more scar tissue and adhesions means I just have to live like this. It is also growing through and into my abdominal muscle
My pain is severe everyday and I can't look forward more than a few days in the future as I can't… read more
