Because of my PCOS and endometriosis, I suffer from chronic pain and anemia which has led to significant weight gain (more than 60 lbs, 20 of it in the last 3 months). Now I’m going for a full hysterectomy in April and beginning hrt shortly afterward. I would appreciate any advice and/personal experiences. Thank you!

I can't count how many times I actually fainted today. I spent most of my day in bed with depression consuming me, but I had to be so careful every time I got up because I know I'd just fall right back onto my bed. I didn't have the strength to blow dry my hair after my shower and even showering made me short of breath and dizzy. I started bleeding lightly today, first day of my strange irregular cycle maybe? Never know if I'm just spotting, point is I'm not bleeding heavily. I've eaten exactly… read more
Pots is probably what you're experiencing or some type of dysautonomia

Just wanted to get an idea about what the effects of Zoloft are if anyone has used it before
I used it to treat my PMS -- only took it the 12 days before my period. It was generally useful. I felt foggy sometimes - the highs were lower and the lows were higher. I felt more even, but life also… read more
Please does anyone have any suggestions for me? My pms symptoms are so bad and last weeks. Nausea, insomnia, crippling anxiety, stomach ache, headache, depression. Every birth control I’ve tried makes me sick physically and mentally. I have stage two endo and I’m not ready to give up my uterus and such. I already had 2 excision surgeries. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m lucky if I get one week a month where I feel so so. Please someone help me.
I used escitalipram which helped. Take a look at Jean hailes website for some herbal meds that can help with pms/pmdd.
I bought one from amazon st John's ambulance tens machine
I’ve been on it for a year. The side effects at first were terrible but I’ve gotten used to them and I do see 50% less pain. However I was put on it out of surgery.
I just started zoladex. I am feeling horrible and the hormone imbalances are creating so many problems... I hate all of the side effects. I am having the hardest time taking all of my meds on top of it. But my insurance doesn't approve Lupron.
Thanks Maam Kim for this very informative knowledge this is my doctor advice but it delayed for some reason..thanks God I open the site,Im afraid of long term side effects since Im so skinny, may be I… read more
I’ve been prescibed gabapentin today after them being suprised that i literally cried during an internal exam (why be so rough - my notes are in front of you!!!) has anyone used this?
Hi, if you decide to take gabapentin or pregablin please be careful as I was prescribed pregablin and MY side affects were horrific!! Then took me 3 months to come of them slowly,,,
I know I might sound crazy, but I have never been able to get myself to use tampons ever since I have had a period. Because my cramps are so painful & I rarely go out or am active on my period, I have never felt the need to use them. Some people may find it odd. I know how to use a tampon and stuff but I’ve only ever use a tampon once I think!? Is that crazy!? I feel like there is such pad shame sometimes, maybe that’s just my experience. I mean honestly it doesn’t matter because we deal with… read more
Yes I think pads and tampons both have nasty chemicals in them, in the Netherlands they had an episode on tv about pads, that they are actually invented by male😅 and they use some kind of chemical… read more
