Hi everyone! I am 25 and have learnt i have endometrioma in my left ovarian (4cm) and high CA125 level, my doctor wants me on Visanne. I have read so many side effects and therefore i couldnt dare taking Visanne.. I am on Yasmin contraceptive pill instead. I have 2 endometriomas on my left ovary. I was scheduled to have them removed next week but the hospital cancelled my surgery due to the guidelines for the Coronovirus right now. Since my surgery is postponed I’m taking this time to do a lot of research. I’m learning excision is the best method. After going to an MRI my doctor confirmed the presence of a chocolate cyst around 5.5cm (left ovary) and one of 2cm (right ovary). He decided to give me the combined pills (Levonorgestrel/ethinylestradiol; 0.10mg/0.02mg) and he said to me that I should come back in a month to see if the cyst shrank or not, if not then he would recommend a surgery for removing only the big cyst.

I started my period 11.11 and had normal bleeding for a week and then I started to have this problem and I still have it (22.11) It is not a first time

My gynecologist told me that she felt a pelvic mass on a bimanual exam that suggested to her that I might have an endometrioma or more on the other side of my vaginal cuff. She also noted a polyp on the vaginal side of the cuff that might be endometriosis. Why would a transvaginal ultrasound and a CT scan find absolutely nothing, when I was in so much pain that I needed hydromorphone in the ER to control it?
