Bladder Symptoms
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone know if a chronic UTI can be caused by endometriosis?? I have suffered with endo since age 12 and had several lap surgeries and eventually a total hysterectomy. My ob/gyn checked me for IC with a cystocopy hydrodistention and it was ok. He now suspects possible endo but all this manifested itself with a UTI. I should also note I'm not prone to bladder problems and never have been.

I might ask for the DNA one. Since I’ve started Paleo AIP diet I haven’t had any problems though which is so amazing. I like wearing shorts and pants and hated haveing to wear dresses and skirts all… read more

I'm Havent Been Diagnosed With Endo, But I Am 90% Sure I Have It. What Are Your Personal Symptoms?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I haven't been diagnosed, but as I said I am very sure I have it. My doctor refuses to do testing even though I have
1 - had a c-section which caused a major amount of tissue
2- it runs in my immideate family
3- I have constant pelvic pain which radiates into sharp pains at least 3 times a day.
4- I have had a "cyst" on my ovaries for over 6 months now
5- I can't get pregnant.

I am very concerned about this as I know how much my family is in pain because of this and how many… read more

I would recommend finding a new doctor. Unfortunately, you may have to meet several of them before you find the one who understands this disease. When I moved from FL to NC for a few years, I went to… read more

Back And Neck Pain
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

So when I was younger my oain was always the same, concentrated on the left side, really sharp, and woulf radiate out and that's just how my pain always presented. As I've gotten older and my pain has changed and now on top of thd leftside pain I'll also feel achey all over, or I'll have pain that follows my spine. Does anyone else experience bad back/neck pain?

Question!!! :)
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else who has Endometriosis or Adenomyosis suffer with constant chronic UTIs and/or Yeast Infections? Or suffers with Institial Cystisis? I feel very alone with this and just wanted to see if anyone else experiences these infections alongside Endo?! Thanks guys.

Chronic UTIs
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get chronic UTIs? I have tried everything to stop getting them, they are getting worse and more painful. I eat very clean, exercise, drink lots of water and have tried adding supplements in as well (d-mannosse, cranberry, etc.) and they will not stop coming back. Does anyone know if UTIs are related to Endo? I know some people got them chronically before surgery and what not. Thanks!

Has Anyone Had The Mirena Coil To Help With Endo Pain?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

If you have, do you find it actually helps the pain atall? I’ve had my coil in for around 3 years & if anything the pain seems 10x worse now than before hand. I’ve also been suffering with chronic UTI’s & bladder problems for the past year & I am under urology for this as they would like to see if it’s being cause by the endometriosis.

Hi Emma
Sorry for my late response, I'm in the same place as you in terms of wondering whether to have my coil replaced next year, the only plus is the control it has with the bleeding because… read more

E Coli And Endometriosis
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone know if there is a connection between e coli and endometriosis?? Or enterococcus. I had DNA testing on my urine and they continue to find high levels of both bacteria despite antibiotics usage. I know alot of women with endo suffer from frequent uti's but trying to figure this out....

Question About Recurring UTIS
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed with endometriosis a while back, but didn't think or know anything about it because I really wasn't having bad symptoms. Last year, my Dr told me it is so bad and I need a full hysterectomy. I don't have insurance, so I've been riding it out. I also have PCOS. I can deal with the pain. What I can't deal with are all of these UTIS that no antibiotic/pyridine will even touch. I've heard of it affecting the bladder, but I'm not really hurting there. I'm just having constant… read more

I would get masses on my ureters really bad from endometriosis that would result in utis as well and would end up having to have stent placed in the in between my surgeries. Extremely painful.

Is There Anyone Who Had Surgery At A Young Age?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am 19 years old, and I was diagnosed when I was 14 and my endo has only gotten worse along with cysts growing in my ovaries. I dropped out of school to homeschool because the pain and sickness were keeping me home too often. I have tried many types of birth control and over the counter pain relievers. Nothing has helped, but my doctors refuse to do anything because I'm too young. I was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation or know someone the doctors refused removal because of… read more
