What do you wish you would have asked your doctor regarding surgery?
I have a consult tomorrow in regards to getting a second surgery. My first one was back in 2020 where they confirmed endo. I feel like I should have asked more questions but I didn't know enough about the disease.
Has anyone been prescribed Orillisa and had unexplained kidney pain? Im trying to rule out if it is the medication or not. I have a history of recurring ureter endometriosis so im worried about that as well. Going to my obgyn on Wednesday.
This has increased for me now that I am taking orilissa
So i have pain on my left side. My doctor said lupron or orlissa would work. But hes letting me pick. I saw lupron is a chemo drug because its apparently more to keep hormones at bay while on chemo. And orlissa i know is fairly new. I just want to know side affects and whatever from anyone who has done either or?
My doctor prescribed me Orilissa but said I need to be on birth control as well. She suggested an IUD but I am nervous about it. I asked about the pill instead and she said that a pill low in estrogen would make the medication less effective. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Hi! I take Orilissa and my doctor has me on a birth control named Errin that doesn’t effect the Orillisa. You just need to make sure you take it at the same time everyday!
I missed a period and was worried about pregnancy. I understand that Orilissa does not prevent against pregnancy and could cause early pregnancy loss so I took a pregnancy test every month. First time missing a period on the medicine so I took another Test. Test were negative, still no period, and I stopped the pill days ago. Has anybody else stopped Orilissa? When did your periods come back? We're you able to conceive afterwards?
Wicked late here. I was on Oralissa last year (around March) and didn’t get my period until September. I then stopped are November so my husband and I can try to conceive. My period did return until… read more
I was recently diagnosed after having laparoscopy 3 weeks ago to help confirm. I am now awaiting my appointment scheduled for the 17th to insert the Mirena, IUD. I am no longer able to safely use oral contraceptives due to the harm they started putting my body and hormones in. The IUD is my only option i learned but was told id possibly be a good candidate by my GYN adding in the Orilissa to alleviate my symptoms , too.
I learned about it initially working at my pharmacy. & becoming eager to… read more
Hello everyone
I lived abroad for eight months and before I left I had a gyno that I didn't really like but needed birth control and Naproxen. I had a laparoscopy December 2014 and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Last summer I went to the er for pain and they found in the ultrasound that I had a cyst rupture in the past month (is that shit even normal? My body is weird as fuck sometimes). I have noticed endo pain increasing around my period, the usual shitty before, during, and after… read more
My doctor wanted to put me back on BC but I said no. My husband and I just tried IVF and it didn't take but I'd still like to get pregnant if possible. I went from 400 mg/day to 200mg/day bc the hot… read more
My new doctor wants me to try this combo for a few months. And seeing as Orilissa is so new on the market I’m wondering what to expect with it.
I did the shot for 2 months and ive only been on orillisa for a month. My ob decided to stop the shot because she said they were actually counteracting with each other causing the shot to not work… read more
I’m on my second month of Orilissa and it has been quite a short ride. I have lost ten pounds since starting Orillissa because my anxiety has been so bad that I have trouble eating.
Do I just start taking my bc in place or Orillissa dose?
It helps the pain so much, but the six or seven side effects that are so severe make it hard to weigh the positive against the negative.
