Is Anyone Else Experiencing Insomnia/restless Legs/night Mares From Primolut N (Norethindrone)?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ive been on Primolut N (Norethindrone) for almost a month and in the beginning i was getting headaches all the time ( i normally never have headaches) and my mood is still all over the place. Except from these side effects I'm also having a lot of trouble sleeping, i get the worst nightmares and i wake up a couple of times a night. I can't find any information about this in the listed side effects (from Sweden)

Zoladex - Does It Actually Reduce Endometriotic Cyst?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

After my first laproscopy last year, I developed a cyst again in April 2023 and I am under treatment since then. I am planning to conceive and my doctor gave me 2 injections of zoladex in 1 month gap to reduce the cyst. I started with 5cm and after 3 months it's 7.3cm. Obviously it didn't work for me but he is too confident that I don't need a surgery and my cyst can be reduced and I can further go for pregnancy. Has anyone been in this situation before where zoladex turned out to be not… read more

Hello, I wanted to speak to people that have been diagnosed and how they knew it was endo. I've been going to the doctor due to lower left abdomen pain that has been going on for a year. Some days it's worse than others but when on my period the pain in my entire uterus and rectum is really extremely bad (for about 5 years now) It doesn't feel like cramps and sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint or like something is trying to come out of my because of the shooting pains but now my lower left… read more

Currently Have A Mirena + Taking Primolut And Norimin, Is It Worth Having A Mirena?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a mirena inserted a few months ago. I tried stopping the pill after having it in and was experiencing to much pain, so went back on it. After a few weeks the bleeding and pain came back so my Dr put me on Norimin as well as the primolut, because she thinks the lining of my uterus is to thin. The bleeding has stopped, but I do have some spotting and pain. I honestly don't want to have to take all these pill + have the mirena, but I don't know what to do? :(

I have had the mirena for 2 weeks and fortunately, it is going well for me. However, my Gyny told me it can take anywhere up to a year for it to fully kick in for other women. I still have flare up… read more

Hormone/birth Control
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Okay I used to have birth control that gave me a period once every 3 months. Just got switched and I'm not sure if I can handle having a period every month. I feel like it will be too much pain.. Has anyone had more success with a 9 or 12 week pack as opposed to a period every month? Is there any difference pain wise? Which do you prefer?

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

No problem! Glad I could help, and good luck.
