A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

What Is Better Lupron Or IUD
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have to make a decision between Lupron or IUD as the birth control pill is no longer an option for me. What does everyone feel is better for pain relief and elimination of growth?

I have the Mirena IUD as birth control and still use Lupron for endo. So it’s not really a choice between the two. Lupron was hard on my overall system but I got significant pain relief from my… read more

What Are The Best Treatment Options?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had horribly painful periods since I was 14. My periods would last 30+ days, so I was put on the pill before I could drive. Sometimes I take 1600mg every four hours and I can still feel the pain (I never use ibuprofen when I’m not on my period except for when I have migraines)
I’m a runner and ski mountaineer… read more

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member, research has demonstrated that Orlissa is no more effective than Lupron, Depo, and GnRH agonists and causes the exact same side effects, short and long-term.

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone used Lupron before. I am considering it but would love some feedback.

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member

Please don’t base your decision on people regurgitating information they’ve found about treatments they have no experience with. Do your own research
I have been on Lupron and I did research and I… read more
